Overview

A specialist WordPress team for United Kingdom.

There are plenty of web design companies in the UK, from London studios to freelancers in every town. Most build on several platforms. We build on one. Since 2020 our team has designed, developed, migrated and looked after WordPress sites and platforms, and that focus shows in the detail: clean custom themes, plugins we write ourselves when the job needs them, and sites that are easy for your staff to update.

We are honest about where we are. We have no UK office, and we do not pretend to. Our team works from Nigeria, which sits on the same clock as the UK for half the year and one hour ahead for the rest. UK clients such as HRD2, whose corporate website we built, work with us through calls, shared documents and a written scope, and the arrangement is simpler than most people expect.

In detail

Built for United Kingdom.

01

Working hours that line up with yours

Lagos runs on UTC+1 all year. While the UK is on British Summer Time, from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October, our clocks match yours exactly. In the winter months on Greenwich Mean Time we are one hour ahead. In practice that means a 10am call in Manchester is a 10am or 11am call for us, support requests are picked up during your working day, and launches can be timed for a quiet UK evening without anyone working through the night.

02

UK GDPR, the ICO and your website

A website that collects enquiries, applications or orders handles personal data, so UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply. We build with that in mind: forms collect only what you need, data is stored where you can account for it, and access is limited. We also remind clients of the ICO's expectations, such as paying the data protection fee unless exempt and reporting serious breaches within 72 hours where feasible, so your privacy notice and processes match what the site actually does.

03

Cookies, consent and analytics

UK cookie rules sit under PECR and are enforced by the ICO. Non-essential cookies need active consent, and continuing to browse is not consent. The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 added a statistical purposes exception for analytics used solely to improve your own site, as long as visitors are told and can object easily. We configure consent banners, analytics and embedded third-party tools to match these rules, rather than adding a banner that sets tracking cookies before anyone clicks.

04

Taking payments in pounds

If your site sells, books or collects fees, we connect WooCommerce or a custom checkout to providers that work well for UK customers. Stripe covers cards, Apple Pay, Klarna and Bacs Direct Debit in GBP. GoCardless suits recurring bank payments and offers Instant Bank Pay through open banking. PayPal remains familiar to many UK buyers. We help you choose based on how your customers pay, and the fees and timings each provider publishes.

05

What you can hand to us

Our work spans four areas. Strategy and design covers discovery, new websites, redesigns, portals and landing pages. Development covers custom themes and plugins, WooCommerce, learning and membership platforms, integrations and bespoke workflows. Migrations move you to WordPress from another CMS, host or domain. Managed services keep the site hosted, maintained, secure and fast through our partners Cloudways and Hostinger. Many UK clients start with one area and keep us for the rest.

06

How pricing and quotes work

Strategy and design starts from $1,500 per project, development from $5,000, migrations from $1,000 and managed services from $2,000 per year. Our prices are set in US dollars, and if your finance team prefers a quote in pounds we can discuss that during scoping. Every engagement is scoped in writing before work begins, so you know exactly what is included, what is not, and what happens after launch.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in the UK?

No. Our team is based in Nigeria and works remotely with UK organisations. We run discovery workshops, reviews and training over video calls and keep everything in shared documents, so nothing depends on meeting in person. Because Lagos time matches or sits one hour ahead of the UK, scheduling is rarely an issue.

Have you worked with UK clients before?

Yes. We designed and built the corporate website for HRD2, a UK organisation, and our BFI School platform for a US client takes payments in pounds as well as other currencies. We are happy to talk through how those projects ran so you can judge whether our way of working suits you.

Can we pay in pounds sterling?

Our starting prices are in US dollars, and that is how we normally invoice. If your organisation needs a quote or invoice in GBP, raise it during scoping and we can discuss it. Either way, the full price and payment schedule are agreed in writing before any work starts.

Will our website comply with UK GDPR and cookie rules?

We build the technical side to support compliance: minimal data collection, secure storage, consent that works properly, and analytics configured to fit the ICO's guidance. Your privacy notice and legal position remain your responsibility, so for anything uncertain we recommend checking with your data protection lead or adviser.

What happens after launch?

You can take the site in-house with our documentation and training, or keep us on a managed services plan that covers hosting, updates, security, backups and performance. Plans start from $2,000 per year and are scoped to the support hours and response you need.

How does a project start?

Book an intro call and tell us what you need. We follow up with questions, review your current site if you have one, and send a written scope with timeline and price. Once you approve it, we begin with discovery, so design and development rest on agreed goals.
