Alvina Schools VLE case study
01

The challenge

When the pandemic closed classrooms, Alvina Schools needed students to keep learning from home. Students were used to collecting lesson files from the school’s local server, so the new platform had to feel familiar.

02

What we built

  • 01

A virtual learning environment designed to look and work like a computer’s file explorer

  • 02

Lesson notes downloadable in formats including PDF and PowerPoint

  • 03

Assignment submission and teacher feedback in one place

03 · The outcome

Students moved to online learning with little adjustment.

What changed
  • Students could access materials and submit work
  • Teachers could run their classes remotely
  • Improved student engagement
