Overview

SEO Services for organisations in the United Kingdom.

Many UK businesses hire an SEO company to write content and build campaigns, then find results held back by the website itself. Pages that cannot be crawled, duplicate addresses, slow loading and missing structured data all limit what good content can achieve.

That technical layer is our part. We are a WordPress team, so we fix problems at the code and server level rather than recommending changes someone else must make. We do not offer link building or paid search management.

In detail

SEO Services in the United Kingdom, in detail.

01

A technical audit of your WordPress site

We start with a crawl of the site and a review of Google Search Console. The audit looks for pages that cannot be indexed, duplicate content created by tags, filters or parameters, broken internal links, redirect chains, missing or conflicting canonical tags and gaps in structured data. You get findings in plain language with a priority order, so your team knows what matters most and why.

02

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Slow pages lose visitors and rankings. We improve Largest Contentful Paint, layout stability and responsiveness by fixing the theme, reducing heavy scripts, optimising images and tuning hosting and caching. For UK audiences, hosting in a London region where available removes unnecessary distance. Results are measured on real pages before and after, not guessed. Improvements are made on staging and checked before going live, so speed gains never break layouts or forms.

03

Local signals for UK searches

If you serve particular UK towns or regions, search engines need consistent signals about who you are and where you work. We add organisation and local business schema where a genuine address exists, make sure contact details match across the site, and structure service and location pages so they are useful to people rather than thin copies. Your marketing team decides which places to target.

04

Visible in AI search too

People now ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity for recommendations, and those tools cite sources. We make your site easy for them to read and cite: clear headings, schema, organisation information and fast, crawlable pages. We also set robots.txt rules for AI crawlers according to your own policy on what may be read and used. This work overlaps with good technical SEO, so it rarely needs a separate budget.

05

Tracking that respects consent

Measuring SEO depends on analytics, and UK rules shape how it is set up. Since the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 changes, analytics used solely to improve your own site may fall under the ICO's statistical purposes exception if visitors are told and can object; advertising tags still need consent. We configure analytics and Search Console so you get reliable data without breaking PECR.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you write content or do keyword research?

No. Content strategy, keyword research and campaigns sit with your marketing team or SEO agency. We make the website technically sound so their work can perform, and we are happy to work alongside them. Clear briefs between us and them avoid duplicated effort.

Can you improve a site you did not build?

Yes. We audit and improve any WordPress site. If the theme or plugins are the root of the problem, we explain the options, from targeted fixes to a rebuild, and what each would achieve. The audit is the same whether we built the site or not.

How long until we see results?

Technical fixes are often visible in Search Console within weeks as pages are recrawled, but rankings depend on content, competition and links too. We report what we changed and the technical measures it moved. We share before and after measurements so progress is visible.

Is this a project or a retainer?

Either. Many clients start with an audit and fixes as a project, then keep performance and technical SEO as part of managed services, which start from $2,000 per year. The retainer covers regular checks so new issues are caught as the site changes.

Do you do local SEO for UK towns?

We handle the technical side: schema, consistent contact details and well-structured location pages. Choosing target areas, writing local content and managing business profiles stay with your marketing team. We make sure the technical foundation supports whatever areas they choose to target.
