Overview

Web Development for organisations in the United States.

Many US companies reach us after a site built on a heavy page builder has become slow, fragile and hard to change. Others need WordPress to do something it does not do out of the box: connect to a CRM, run a member area, take subscription payments or feed data into a dashboard. That is development work rather than design, and it rewards a team that knows WordPress internals well.

We are a WordPress-only development team. We build custom themes on the block editor, write plugins for business logic, and integrate WordPress with the services your company already pays for. Projects are run remotely from Nigeria with a daily overlap with US business hours.

In detail

Web Development in the United States, in detail.

01

Custom themes and plugins, not page-builder sprawl

We build lean block themes with the components your editors actually need, so pages stay fast and consistent. Business logic lives in custom plugins with clear names and documentation, not in snippets pasted into a theme file. That separation means you can redesign later without losing functionality, and another developer can pick the code up without guesswork. Everything is in version control, and the repository belongs to you.

02

Integrations with the US tools you already use

American teams tend to run a stack of SaaS tools: a CRM, an email platform, scheduling, accounting and analytics. We connect WordPress to them through official APIs and webhooks, with logging so failures are visible rather than silent. Typical work includes sending form leads to a CRM with consent flags, syncing customers to an email platform, and pushing orders into accounting. Where a service offers a maintained plugin, we use it; where it does not, we write a small, tested integration.

03

Payments wired in properly

Stripe is the default for many US projects, with cards, wallets and ACH Direct Debit for larger or recurring charges, and we handle the ACH mandate step so customers authorise the debit correctly. PayPal Checkout adds Venmo and Pay Later. For WooCommerce stores, WooPayments keeps payments inside the WordPress dashboard. We test refunds, failed payments and webhooks as carefully as successful ones, because that is where most payment bugs hide.

04

Accessible, privacy-aware code

Accessibility does not stop at design. We write semantic markup, manage focus in menus and modals, and make custom components work with a keyboard and screen readers, aiming at WCAG 2.1 AA. On privacy, we load analytics and marketing scripts only after consent where state laws such as the CCPA require it, and we make the opt-out choices on your site actually change what loads. These details are easy to miss in development and expensive to retrofit.

05

How a development project runs

We start with a technical discovery that lists features, integrations, data and risks, then agree a written scope and milestones. Work happens on a staging site, with code reviews and testing before anything is deployed. You see progress at regular demos timed for your morning. Development projects start from $5,000, invoiced in US dollars against the agreed milestones. Each milestone ends with a demo and a short written summary of what changed.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do we own the code you write?

Yes. Custom themes and plugins are delivered in a Git repository that belongs to you, along with documentation. Your hosting, domain and third-party accounts stay in your company's name. If you later bring development in-house or move to another agency, they have everything they need.

Can you work alongside our in-house developers?

Yes. Some US clients have a developer or product team and need WordPress specialists for a defined piece of work. We follow your branching and review process, document what we build, and hand over cleanly. The overlap with US Eastern mornings gives a daily window for stand-ups or pairing.

Which payment gateways do you integrate for US sites?

Mostly Stripe, PayPal Checkout and WooPayments, depending on your business and existing accounts. Stripe also supports ACH Direct Debit from US bank accounts, which suits larger or recurring payments. We set up and test each gateway, including refunds and webhooks.

How do you handle time zones during development?

We are five to six hours ahead of US Eastern Time. We schedule demos and calls in your morning, post written updates at the end of our day, and keep the staging site current, so you can review whenever suits you. Urgent issues are agreed in advance with a clear contact route.

What does a development project cost?

Development projects start from $5,000, priced in US dollars. The final figure depends on the features, integrations and data involved, and it is set out in a written proposal with milestones before work begins. Hosting, premium plugin licences and gateway fees are separate running costs, and we list them so your budget is complete.
