SEO services, Rwanda

Technical SEO that gives Rwandan websites a sound foundation

Good content struggles to rank on a slow, badly structured website. Our SEO service fixes the technical side of your WordPress site so search engines and AI assistants can find, read and trust it, while your marketing team stays in charge of content and campaigns.

Overview

SEO Services for organisations in Rwanda.

Search results for Rwandan queries are often a mix of local businesses, regional agencies and international directories. Standing out among them depends partly on what you publish and partly on whether your website is technically sound. We focus on the second part, because that is where WordPress expertise makes the difference.

SEO sits within our Managed Services, which start from $2,000 per year. That includes regular checks, so problems are fixed as they appear rather than waiting for a yearly audit.

In detail

SEO Services in Rwanda, in detail.

01

Speed on Rwandan mobile connections

Many visitors in Rwanda browse on phones using mobile data, and slow pages lose them before they read a word. Speed also feeds into how search engines judge page experience. We measure real loading times, compress and resize images, remove unused scripts, set up caching and trim plugins that add weight without value. The goal is a site that opens quickly on an ordinary Android phone, not only on an office connection.

02

Getting Kinyarwanda, English and French right

Multilingual sites often confuse search engines. The French page competes with the English one, or the Kinyarwanda version is never indexed at all. We set up proper language tags so each version is shown to the right searcher, give each language its own clean URLs, and make sure translated pages carry translated titles and descriptions rather than copies of the English ones.

03

Structure, schema and a clean index

We review how your pages are organised, which ones search engines can see and which they should not. That means fixing broken links, removing thin or duplicate pages from the index, tidying redirects and producing an accurate sitemap. We add structured data that describes your organisation, services, events or courses, which helps search engines and AI tools understand what each page is about.

04

Visibility in AI search

People increasingly ask AI assistants for recommendations instead of scrolling results pages. Those tools draw on pages they can read easily and trust. We make sure your key pages state clearly who you are, where you work and what you offer, that facts such as contact details are consistent across the site, and that nothing technical blocks the reputable crawlers you want to reach your content.

05

Where your marketing team takes over

We do not write blog posts or run advertising campaigns. Your marketing team, or the agency you already use, knows your audience and voice better than we do. What we give them is a site that loads quickly, a report on which pages perform, and practical guidance on headings, internal links and page structure, so every article they publish starts on solid ground.

Platforms we have built.

The corporate sites we built for Verbatim and for HRD2 in the UK show the clean structure and lean build that technical SEO depends on; we share them as examples of build quality, not as ranking claims.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you write content or run ads?

No. Content and campaigns stay with your marketing team. We handle the technical side: speed, structure, indexing, structured data and AI search readiness. We do give your writers guidance on page structure and internal links so their work performs well once it is published on the site.

Can you promise first-page rankings?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Rankings depend on competition, content and many factors outside a developer's control. What we commit to is the work in our written scope, carried out properly, and clear reporting so you can see what changed and why.

Does a .rw domain help with local search?

A country domain such as .rw or .co.rw is a clear signal that your site serves Rwanda, which can help with local searches. It is not essential if you already have strong links to a .com address. We advise case by case, because changing domain carries costs and risks of its own.

Is SEO work affected by the data protection law?

Analytics and tracking tools collect personal data such as IP addresses and device identifiers, so Law No. 058/2021 is relevant. We configure analytics to collect what you need, explain it in your privacy notice and include those tools in the description you give the NCSA when registering.

How do you report progress?

We share a regular report covering speed, indexing, errors fixed and search performance for the pages that matter to you. Reports are written in plain language, and we can walk your team through them on a call during Kigali working hours, which overlap almost fully with ours.

Can you fix SEO on a site you did not build?

Yes. We start with a technical audit of the existing WordPress site and send you a prioritised list of fixes. Some are quick configuration changes, others may involve theme code or hosting. Everything is agreed in writing before we start, so there are no surprises on cost.
