Overview

SEO Services for organisations in Malawi.

Search competition in Malawi is lighter than in larger markets, which is an opportunity. A well-built site with clear structure and useful pages can be found for the services you offer in Lilongwe, Blantyre or nationally without an enormous budget. The usual obstacles are technical: slow pages, missing titles, duplicate content and sites that search engines cannot crawl properly.

That is the part we fix. We are a WordPress team, so our SEO work is the technical foundation: speed, structure, indexing and structured data. We do not write blog campaigns or run advertising, and we say so plainly, because the strongest results come when your own team owns the message.

In detail

SEO Services in Malawi, in detail.

01

Speed on the networks your visitors use

Most Malawians who are online reach the internet through a mobile connection, and search engines measure how quickly pages respond on phones. We profile your site, then compress images, remove unused scripts and styles, set up caching and fix slow database queries. Faster pages help rankings and keep visitors who are paying for every megabyte from leaving before the page appears.

02

Structure that search engines understand

We review how your pages are organised, how they link to each other and which ones search engines can reach. We fix broken links, redirect chains and duplicate pages, set clear titles and descriptions, and generate a clean XML sitemap. Structured data then tells Google what each page is: an organisation, a product, a course, an event or a frequently asked question.

03

Signals that say Malawi

If your customers are in Malawi, the site should say so clearly. A .co.mw or .org.mw domain, a Malawian address and phone number in a consistent format, prices in kwacha and a Google Business Profile all help search engines connect you with local searches. We set the technical signals correctly and advise on keeping your business details consistent across directories and social profiles.

04

Ready for AI search

More people now ask AI assistants for recommendations rather than scrolling results. Those tools draw on pages that are clear, well structured and factual. We make sure your key pages answer obvious questions directly, carry accurate structured data and are not blocked from the crawlers that feed these assistants, unless you choose to block them. We also check that your organisation's name, services and locations are described the same way everywhere, because inconsistent details make it harder for any system to describe you accurately.

05

Measured and reported

We connect Google Search Console and analytics, record a baseline before we change anything and report on what moved. You see which pages gained impressions and clicks, which technical issues were fixed and what we recommend next. If your marketing team writes new content, we give them a brief on structure and search phrasing so their work lands well. Reports are written in plain English.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you write content or run ad campaigns?

No. Our SEO work is technical: speed, structure, indexing, structured data and AI search readiness. Content writing and campaigns stay with your marketing team or agency. We give them guidance so their content performs well on a technically sound site.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No one honest can. Rankings depend on competition, content and factors outside anyone's control. What we can do is remove the technical barriers that stop good pages from being found and report clearly on progress against a measured baseline. We would be wary of anyone who promises otherwise.

How much do SEO services cost?

SEO and AI search work sits within our Managed Services, which start from $2,000 per year. A one-off technical audit and fix project can also be scoped separately. You receive a written scope with a fixed USD price either way.

Does a .mw domain help with local search?

A country domain is one helpful signal that your site serves Malawi, alongside a local address, phone number, kwacha prices and a Google Business Profile. A .com can still rank locally when those other signals are strong. We help you choose and set up whichever fits your organisation.

How soon will we see results?

Technical fixes such as speed and indexing can show in Search Console within weeks, but ranking changes usually take longer and vary by competition. We report monthly so you can see what is moving, rather than waiting for a single verdict.
